And I am so behind now on Heroes. Whoops. I also watched part of the pilot of Crusoe and wrote up a long post but don't want to post it until I finish the pilot. Which might be NEVER since it is an hour and a half long. It takes me roughly an hour to eat a meal, and I'm way too lazy to remember to go back for the second half at the next meal. NO THANKS, CRUSOE. TOO LONG. (Okay I'll actually probably watch anyway sometime because I love the book. BUT SHHH.)

I went on a tv-watching binge today since I hadn't watched any for almost a week and would have been driven crazy if I didn't stop studying for a while to have nerdy fun...

Also I don't understand Skynet's plans. They're like, "oh, we need to kill John Connor... so we'll travel back in time and kill his mother! Oh, he's still not dead? I guess we'd better send more things back in time to kill him. OH DAMN, HE'S STILL HERE, let's send someone back to kill this guy that saved him one time. SHIT, THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER." It's like... the time-traveling? Is not really working out so well for them. Maybe they should just try to win the war in the future. Seems like a better plan. Otherwise, soon they'll be sending terminators back in time to destroy John's favorite ice cream company in the hope that they can starve him to death, or something.

So, I watched the first episode of the second season of T:SCC without having seen, like, the last four episodes of season one (THOUGH I BOUGHT THE DVDS YESTERDAY, SO I SHOULD BE ALL CAUGHT UP SOON) and hmm.

Huh. I ship John/Cameron kind of a lot. I mean, everyone is all "she can't feel emotion, so obviously you can't ship them!" but. Uh. I SO CAN. AND THAT KIND OF MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. I mean, if he's in love with her or whatever, and she doesn't feel ANYTHING back and he KNOWS it, even if sometimes he fools himself into thinking she loves him? GOD WHAT AN AMAZINGLY PERFECT SET-UP FOR ANGST AND DRAMA AND LOLS. (Also, I'm just not entirely sure that she CAN'T feel emotion. I think she has some feelings!)

Also, I hereby resolve that if I make it through this week at lantis_lims, I will make all my icons at least two days in advance of the deadline and will try at least three different variations. Because I think my entries for the past few weeks have had no spirit at all, which I guess reflects my greater mood but still sucks, especially because I had a bit of a good run before that. And since my voting reasons tend to be abstract shit like "This icon has not the spark of life!" etc, it makes me feel especially bad for submitting dead ones.

But anyway. I revamped my userinfo to reflect some of my newer interests, like my sudden desire to see Claudia Black/Lena Headey. Not like RPS, mind you. I want this shit ON MY TELEVISION. Hottest thing ever, Y/Y? ( Picspam to go with this, for those who need some visuals. )
