My Own Worst Enemy - 1x01 Breakdown and 1x02 The Hummingbird

SPIES! And Christian Slater! And SPIES!

This show is like the stupidest shit ever. Is there some rule that says all tv shows about spies have to be founded on unsuitably gimmicky premises? I think there probably is. Anyway, I will probably keep watching for the SPIES.

Okay, so I get all the ways in which Edward fucking Henry's wife to get back at him for taking his car out was really, ridiculously sexist, but OMFG it is so hilarious how much Henry's wife wants to re-enact their night of passion. And then Henry is all, "WHAT, GRRR" and Edward is like, "ahahahha, yeah bitch, your wife loves me more than you." And it's HILARIOUS. Except they're THE SAME PERSON. OHMYGOD THIS SHOW IS SO LAME. And his poor wife is so confused that he's not THRILLED about their new rockin' sex life when she loves it. And Henry is like, "GOD HOW COULD YOU LET ME DO THAT TO YOU!?" and she's like, "ummm because I liked it? and you're my husband? and it was fun?" and he's like, "OH HOLY SHIT NEVER AGAIN! NEVER HAVE SEX WITH ME AGAIN!" and she's like, "???????????!?!?!???"

ER 14xwhatthefuckthisshowiseternal - The Book of Abby

ABBY LEFT THE SHOW. OMG CRY. SHE WAS MY FAVORITE.

In other news, Angela Basset is smokin' hot. And possibly doesn't age, or maybe gets younger every year. How the hell does she do that? I don't know what's up with her character though. Lost her son and husband? In the tsunami? POSSIBLY!? Also, I love how Neela sleeps with like everyone and then is all, "oh, fuck off, I was just horny, it wasn't anything personal." NEELA FTW.

Also I love Morris more than is reasonable. Remember the episodes where he met his kids from sperm donation and he went to one kid's soccer game and like slapped the kid on the ass or something and got tackled by the kid's lesbian moms? GOOD TIMES. Or all the ways he would accidentally be obliviously racist in front of Dr. Pratt because they are BFF and hetero lifemates? Or how, in this episode, he didn't realize Abby was leaving until she was like ACTUALLY LEAVING and then he was all, "wtf, dudes, why does nobody tell me anything, omg ABBY I LOOOOOVE YOOOUUUUUU" and it was hilarious? Anyway, in conclusion, Morris is an idiot but somehow I heart him a lot anyway. Possibly because of the vibrant red hair. Same reason I hearted Dr. Weaver.

I think this show is SO much better when watched totally out of order while eating breakfast. It's like crazy new dramatic revelations come with each slice of pear! A new breakup whenever I take a bite of bagel! Plus I'm not awake enough to truly care about the retardedness of it all (other breakfast shows have included Heroes, Eureka, and Lost, so you see that only the truly ridiculous ones are allowed so early in the morning). GOSSIP GIRL + BREAKFAST FOODS FOREVER.

Also I am beginning to find Dan strangely compelling. He's like the most boring character ever, wtf. He doesn't even prostitute himself out or anything.

Also also, Vanessa breaks my heart in like every episode.

And I still like Blair best. Chuck is so perfect for her even though I hate his stupid face.

OH MY DARLING, DEAN BEING TERRIFIED OF EVERYTHING WAS SO PRICELESS. HIS GIRLY SCREAM WHEN THE CAT JUMPED OUT OF THE LOCKER WAS THE BEST PART.

NO WAIT THE BEST PART WAS THE FLASH OF YELLOW IN SAM'S EYES AT THE END. NOW DEAN IS SCARED OF SAM. OH EM GEE.

ALSO I THOUGHT SAM LOOKED HOTTER IN THIS EPISODE THAN PREVIOUS ONES THIS SEASON. HIS SHOULDERS ARE SO MOTHERFUCKING BROAD.

AND DEAN WAS HOT IN THAT GREY SHIRT THING. ALSO DEAN WAS HOT ALL THE TIME.

And I am so behind now on Heroes. Whoops. I also watched part of the pilot of Crusoe and wrote up a long post but don't want to post it until I finish the pilot. Which might be NEVER since it is an hour and a half long. It takes me roughly an hour to eat a meal, and I'm way too lazy to remember to go back for the second half at the next meal. NO THANKS, CRUSOE. TOO LONG. (Okay I'll actually probably watch anyway sometime because I love the book. BUT SHHH.)
