GUYS, THIS SHOW IS MADE OF THE LAUGHS. I THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SERIOUS OR SOMETHING BUT I LAUGH EVEN HARDER THAN AT PRISON BREAK, THE SECOND MOST LAUGHIEST DRAMATIC SHOW ON TV.
No, seriously, they played an Evanescence song at the end of the first episode, during these ~really dramatic~ scenes. They also played Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" while VampireLogan and 1980s!Mick were feeding off some hot chicks. And then some really dramatic thing I recognized but don't know at the end of the second episode, and it was obviously supposed to be a very heartfelt musical choice but it made me laugh like crazy. Also I'm not sure that anyone other than VampireLogan can act, but all VampireLogan does is, well, be exactly like Logan from Veronica Mars except as a vampire. Also his name is Josef, which is not pronounced like "Joseph" but rather like "jo-SEFFFFFFFFFFff" with some crazyhilarious accent. Also, Beth Turner's boyfriend is like THE BEST BOYFRIEND EVER so far on the show and I'm sad that she will probably drop him for Mick St.
Later I'll picspam you guys with some of the lols. (Also, my opinion of the show is still basically "Mick St. John: I'd hit it." I feel like after two episodes I should be having some deeper thoughts, but apparently this is not that kind of show.)
Also I spent some of my birthday money today. I bought the second season of Supernatural (even though I'm still not even halfway done with the first, but I've already seen most of the second so.) and the first season of The X-Files. I've never seen a whole episode of that so I'm somewhat skeptical of it, but it was only $20 so I figured it would probably be worth it. | |
