So, I watched the first episode of the second season of T:SCC without having seen, like, the last four episodes of season one (THOUGH I BOUGHT THE DVDS YESTERDAY, SO I SHOULD BE ALL CAUGHT UP SOON) and hmm.

CAMERON. OMG CAMERON. She's so my favorite and I ship her and John so hard. So when she claimed to love him... omg! I mean, even if it was just a manipulation, my shipper heart can take from it that it was a manipulation she thought might WORK. Plus John totally kept giving off his cute little "omg, I love my fake robot not-girlfriend!" vibes all episode.

I kind of hated that John cut his hair. NOOOOOOO, I LIKED IT ALL SHAGGY AND STUPID-LOOKING.

Hmm, I also realized that Derek is played by that guy who used to be engaged to Megan Fox. I must admit, he comes off better onscreen than he does in pictures. I remember seeing some pictures of him and Megan and being like "?????WHY, MEGAN, WHY?????" but... if he looks like THAT in real life, I guess I can see why.

Also, whatsherface with the red hair sucked. Like... most boring character ever. Even when she was all liquid!Terminator and stabbing that guy in the face I was like, "whatever, I don't care, this is totally lame."

But I did like her version of the song at the beginning of the episode. That part was awesome!

Also I totally laughed at the sanctuary-in-the-church scenes. LOLZ. I love the way I'll be taking this show SO FUCKING SERIOUSLY one minute and the next minute going all 0_o and flailing and laughing like a madman at it.

Huh. I ship John/Cameron kind of a lot. I mean, everyone is all "she can't feel emotion, so obviously you can't ship them!" but. Uh. I SO CAN. AND THAT KIND OF MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. I mean, if he's in love with her or whatever, and she doesn't feel ANYTHING back and he KNOWS it, even if sometimes he fools himself into thinking she loves him? GOD WHAT AN AMAZINGLY PERFECT SET-UP FOR ANGST AND DRAMA AND LOLS. (Also, I'm just not entirely sure that she CAN'T feel emotion. I think she has some feelings!)
