Here is a quote from a really old interview with John Mayer that I randomly stumbled across and thought was funny:

"Everyone thinks Brad Pitt has it great because he married Angelina Jolie. I think he has it terrible, because when Angelina Jolie is giving you a blow job, what do you tip your head back and think of to help you finish? I never found John Mayer even the least bit compelling before right now, but that "Jesus on a polar bear" thing is pretty hilarious. Mayer's still fug though. He's like the ugly bastard love child of Orlando Bloom, James Franco, and Antonio Banderas. I don't even know. Last year one of my suitemates was really into him but I just find him (and his music) repulsive.

haha, I just like a lot of batshit random music and so call myself a pretentious indiesnob because I like a lot of the same music that they do? Even though I don't know much about music in general (OR SO I THINK, THOUGH APPARENTLY I KNOW MORE OBSCURE SHIT THAN MOST, AND ALSO CAN TALK ABOUT OPERA AT LENGTH). But I also have very, uh, rigid taste in music and it definitely excludes wimpyass shit like John Mayer. And probably ambient pop, idk, is that like Panda Bear? I hated that album last year. I had a professor who went on and on about it but I got halfway through and in the middle of "Bros" I was like FUCK THAT SHIT, I'M GOING BACK TO BATTLES AND LIGHTNING BOLT AND OTHER LOUD SHIT. FUCK EVEN RIHANNA WAS FUCKING BETTER THAN PANDA BEAR. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I BET PANDAS ARE FUCKING ASHAMED TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT SHIT. oh god I'm just ranty today.
