1. It's my birthday today. Rejoice!

2. I am moving into the new apartment on Monday. I'm excited about it, even if I keep having weird dreams where somehow we manage to bring the wrong bed and I'm stuck sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress and then get eaten by dogs.

3. MOONLIGHT. I am like three minutes in and I have this to say: Mick St. John: I'd hit it. ALSO, why did all the buzz around this show concentrate on Mick St. John and VampireLogan and not at all on SHANNYN SOSSAMON who is apparently in it? I mean, I haven't gotten to any parts of the episode that have her yet, but I totally started watching because I looked it up on IMDB and saw her name.

The midnight movie tonight? Is INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. I am pretty sure the theater planned it for my birthday on purpose, because the only movies that would have been MORE PERFECT are Star Wars and DIE HARD. So yes! FUN THINGS AHEAD.

I watched like 5 episodes of Moonlight and I just... couldn't get into it. It was weird. I love vamps! But yeah, Shannyn Sossamon ROCKS!

Yeah, I'm only 20 minutes into this first episode and it is... ehh. I don't see why everyone always goes on about Sophia Myles. I wasn't impressed with her on Doctor Who and I'm not impressed with her now. I also don't find her all that attractive -- to me she just looks plain. And her acting seems stilted and awkward. And VampireLogan seems so far exactly like Logan from Veronica Mars except AS A VAMPIRE. Which I am actually loving, but I can see how it may annoy me a few episodes down the line.

I agree about Sophia Myles, her acting falls flat for me too. I thought she was pretty lame in Underworld, and she was in that for like 5 minutes.

I liked Logan on Moonlight, but I've never watched Veronica Mars.

Anyhoooo... hope the midnight showing of Indy was AMAZING! :D

Thank god you're not one of the people on my flist who says Sophia Myles is the most gorgeous and talented person in the world. I don't remember her being in Underworld, but then there were other things involving hot people going on in that movie that were taking away my attention.

AND YOU WOULD PROBABLY LIKE VERONICA MARS, FYI.

YAY THANKS. There WAS cake, actually, and we went to the cheesecake factory and ordered a whole cake -- which is practically unheard of there -- and our waiter went like this:

A WHOLE CAKE? A WHOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLEE CAAAAAAAAAKE?

So now I have this motherfucking HUGE cake in my refrigerator and it is so amazingly good!
