I don't want to be like GRAWR MY STUPID FRIENDS but JESUS CHRIST, who on earth calls at 1 am on a Monday night the last week of classes wanting to borrow BSG season 3 on DVD? Other, of course, than my friends? And then, despite me saying I'll lend them the dvds but they can't stay long (this isn't a problem because they live thirty seconds away) because I'm writing a paper, saunter in and start looking through all my stuff? I LOVE MY FRIENDS BUT SERIOUSLY.

And since my study time has already been interrupted (and what's a little more interruption), a meme!

List the first ten series that come to mind. Your friends will comment with the character from each series that they think you are most like. Remember this is who I'm most like, not favorites! And oh jesus, you so do not have to try to come up with characters from each. Don't work that hard, it's a meme. Just one or two is okay (though if you think of more, feel free!)

I will do the meme for the shows I know, and I will probably give very confusing answers since I don't know you all that well and I suck at memes like this. :)

6. Arrested Development - I was going to say Lindsey because of your quirkiness but then I remembered you are nowhere near as flighty as Lindsey, so I pick George Michael, because you are studious and well-meaning AND quirky and this sounds like an insult wrapped in a compliment because Michael Cera is awesome. I have no idea what I just said.

8. Buffy - THIS ONE IS HARD. I love this show to the point that I consider the characters some of my best friends, and yet I can't think of the perfect one. Probably Mayor Wilkins except without the evil world domination stuff. Or, okay, maybe even WITH the evil world domination stuff. God, I love the Mayor.

9. Angel - Um, FRED. Duh.

And I AM actually super-flighty, so Lindsay would work for the AD one. She's like me on a bitch day.

And heee, Fred, she's my favorite. I am convinced Amy Acker is THE PRETTIEST PERSON EVER TO EXIST.

I absolutely adore Lindsey. She cracks my shit up.

Mayor Wilkins is my FAVORITE VILLAIN EVIR.

Fred is the best. I kind of wish she had been on Buffy. I would love to see her get in it with Anya.

At first I read that you would like to see Fred "get it on with Anya" and I was like, "well, not something I'd thought of before, BUT I WON'T OBJECT" before reading the REAL WORDS YOU WROTE and being like, "hmm, makes more sense." ANYA, OH GOD, ANYA IS MY SECOND FAVORITE FROM THE BUFFYVERSE (after Fred). SO AWESOME. One time I started writing a fanfic where Anya (back from the dead!) teams up with Dean Winchester, who is HORRIFIED to learn she's A DEMON (or former-demon, at any rate), and keeps wanting to kill her, while she keeps wanting to have sex with him, and HILARITY ENSUES. But unfortunately I'm really bad at finishing stuff so it will live only as a thought. But I still think it's a good idea.

You know, as I was typing it, I thought, "This is going to get misinterpreted and it is going to be AWESOME."

My first favorite character in Buffy is actually Drusilla, and my second favorite is Faith, which was sort of an accident and happened in that episode where she switches places with Buffy and then she beats herself up (literally!) and then she goes on Angel and freaking turns herself in and I was so fucking moved that I went back and watched her in season three with this new information and I love the crap out of her. And Drusilla is just batshit insane, and gorgeous, and I love her, too. :)

CONFESSION TIME: I do not know who Dean Winchester is, although I feel like I should!

Hmm, I love Fred, Anya, Giles, Wesley, Gunn, Cordelia, Lilah, ANDREW, and thereafter it all gets a bit muddled with me just yelling "OH GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW, I LOVE EVERYONE, LOVEFEST!" randomly.

While I love Faith, she's prevented from being a FAVORITE favorite because she effing cut up Wesley! How could she do that to him!?!? And yes, Drusilla is AWESOME. Everything she says is so crazy and funny.

And Dean is the older brother from Supernatural. *points to icon* He likes lovin' ladies, killing demons, eating food, and making smartass remarks. I feel he and Anya would be well suited to each other.

Yes, but then Westley went all bad and moody later on, so it was kind of like preemptive payback! And then he got better.

Ha, he does sound pretty perfect for Anya. And maybe he wouldn't LEAVE HER AT THE ALTER. Although I can't fault Xander too much because he's so damn cuddly.

My favorite Andrew line is the funnel cake one. "Buffy, where have you been? This funnel cake is totally kicking my ass!" Whenever people complain about season 7, I always point out the amount of AWESOME ANDREW that season delivered, and usually they hush up.

My favorite is when he's accusing Spike of eating his hot pocket. "I wrote 'Andrew's, Do Not Eat' on it..." Oh, so many hearts. :)

I've found that the more times I watch the later seasons, the more I love them. Even season four, which has spent so much time as The Worst Season in my heart, started to grow on me when I realized that Riley was what Buffy needed at the time, a normal guy who was not a demon. OR WHATEVER. I've come to a place where I love every season of Buffy for different reasons, and trying to pick a favorite sends me into a sea of waffling and mind changing, though I tend to lean towards season three.

I've always liked season 4... but I'm not so fond of season 6. Man, I don't know what my favorite is. 7, 5, or 2. One of those. ALL of those. And yeah, it's hard to choose because they're all important!

You are the first person I have ever talked to that's liked season four! CONGRATULATIONS.

Aw, poor season six! I loved season six because I was so desperate to see Sunnydale High return, and then there was the musical episode, and then Xander and Anya's wedding (which I was looking forward to and ended up sucking but WHATEVS). But yes, every season has their pros and cons. i think I can say with certainty, however, that season one is NOT my favorite season (although "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" and "Prophecy Girl" are some of my all time favorite episodes)

But season 4 has the storyline where Spike becomes TOTALLY LAME and also episodes like "Hush" and the one where Giles is turned into a demon and Buffy knows it's him BECAUSE OF HIS EYES, and the Faith-bodyswitch episode, and the makes-no-sense-until-you've-finished-the-whole-show episode and SO MUCH AWESOME. Plus Riley and his guys were all kind of hot.

I just didn't like season 6 because everyone was super-depressed in it. And Willow went evil. And Tara died. And stuff.

See, I hated Riley. I have no idea why, now, he doesn't piss me off like he used to, but he drove me crazy with hatred. And I tend to like the really depressing stuff, so that's probably why I loved season 6 so much. :)

AND YES THE JOHNATHAN EPISODE. I HEARTS YOU, JOHNATHAN. OR PERHAPS YOU MEAN THE CRAZY PSYCHIATRIC WARD EPISODE. Was that season 4? Maybe that was season 6. Yeah, that was season 6.
