SPN 1x21 - Salvation & 1x22 - Devil's Trap

Firstly, I miss Meg already. SHOW, WHY DID MEG HAVE TO LEAVE?

Okay, my heart has broken for Dean SO MANY TIMES during these.

SAM OMG SAM. I heart Sam so much. He's so cuddly. Aww, Sam. Though that busted-up-face look was not so hot on him.

John Winchester continues being REALLY FRAKKING AWESOME. And fucked-up. Jesus effing christ he is so screwed up. But man. In a really hot way.

I think Sam looks and acts more like John but Dean sounds like him. Just an observation. Poor Dean is so torn between his two alphas in these eps. Every time he had another "Sam or John? Sam or John?" conflict was a really big "OH, DEAN" moment. And when Sam was holding the gun on John and John was begging Sam to shoot him and Dean was just lying on the floor kind of whimpering "No, Sam," it was so heartbreaky.

Dean: "Man, this sucks out loud."
WHAT. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.

FUCK. Even knowing that ending was coming didn't make it less shocking. I sat and stared at the screen blankly for like five minutes just going "WHAT. WHAT. WHAAAAAT."

Also, beyond Cassie, we did not see Dean getting any this season. My theory about Dean having way, way less sex than people think he is having is holding [this is an awkwardly-constructed sentence, sorry]. And about that threesome that supposedly happened in Provenance? Yeah, Dean just slept out in the car all by his lonesome. THAT'S MY THEORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT. Though actually I have a whole lot of character reasons and other fancypants substantiation and I'd write a meta post on it except I'm lazy and have midterms and icon battles and presidential elections to attend to.

SPN 2x02 - Everybody Loves a Clown (aka the abusive!Dean episode)

JO! JO! JO! Say it with me now: JO!

Dean: "Apparently they were ripped to shreds... and they had a little boy with them."
Sam: "Who fingered a clown."
Dean: *swivels head to stare at Sam*
Sam: *is clueless*
Sam: "What?"

I still love Jo and ship Jo/Dean, though after reading several fics wherein Jo ties Sam to a chair and then sexes him up, I am also inclined to like Jo/Sam. And also Ellen/Dean. But Jo/Dean first and forever.

JOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I just really like Jo. idk why. Because Alona Tal is AWESOME, maybe. Or because Jo is so freakin' adorable that I can't stand it.

And Dean beating the Impala is the emptiest, hollowest, ouchiest scene EVER. It's almost as bad as Buffy coming into the house and saying "mom? mom?" while Joyce is lying dead on the couch. Just. Oh my heart. To be so upset and hurt that you work to destroy something you love, something you built (or rebuilt, whatever), I can't even imagine it. I am a destroyer of objects when I am angry but it is always, always things which are easily replaced and which don't mean much to me and which smash satisfactorily. Or my cellphone, because it snaps apart into like five pieces and then I can just snap them back together and it's very cathartic. Anyway. Seeing Dean lay into the Impala like that is just kind of horrifying.

Also, Sam's hair just looks stupider and stupider as time goes on. omg, get a haircut, Sam!
