My philosophy professor had a hickey today. I could see it. Right at the junction of his shoulder and neck. It was quite distracting. If he buttoned one more button on his polo shirt it would have been hidden, and I contemplated asking him to do so but ultimately rejected the idea as too inappropriate. Instead I just had to deal with having my thoughts derailed horribly every time I looked at it.

In other news, scoradh recently wrote this wonderful story, The Problem With Elephants.

It's original fiction (that means ALL OCs, darlings) and so there is no Harry Potter [sorry, there IS a Potter mention] Draco Malfoy or Rodney McKay to be found, but that's alright as her characters almost put them to shame. Tim is a gangly, awkward teenager who has a crush on his former best friend, Noel, who is tall and handsome and cool and has dark hair that falls sexily over his eyes a lot. Scoradh mentions this fact more than once, which is one of the reasons that I love her. Anyway, some time ago Noel and Tim had a falling out ("Martin Luther and the Great Schism had nothing on It," according to the story) and now Tim is just PINING ALONE even though he kind of HATES Noel (but still likes him, y'see, because emotions are contrary like that) but because Tim and Noel's mothers are best friends, they are FORCED into CLOSE CONTACT. Hot boysex ensues, obviously. Trust me, if you read this story, you will not be disappointed.
