SPN really went all out for the gore that season.

Not many things on fictional tv make me squick, but that came damned close. It's one of my favorite episodes! Does that make me weird?

I enjoyed that episode quite a bit as well. I think in my case it may be because the first SPN episode I ever liked was "Nightshifter," so to see the previous shapeshifter story was supercool. Also IT TURNED INTO DEAN AND TOOK ITS SHIRT OFF. And then its skin, but oh well.
