GUYS PINEAPPLE EXPRESS OMG GUYS.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - D+. This movie has Yetis, and also the "mummies" are made of terracotta. Neither Rachel Weisz nor Oded Fehr return, and I think that pretty much says it all.

Pineapple Express - I don't even fucking KNOW, man. James Franco and Seth Rogen tear it up. I adored every minute.

So we saw both of these in the smaller (well, barely smaller) room at the theater, which means 87 seats. EIGHTY-SEVEN SEATS, GUYS. There were like maybe ten other people in The Mummy, and one of those was this jackass who was just blazed and kept busting out with all these hilariously oblivious asides and I went back and forth between wanting to throttle him for talking over the dialogue and being glad he was there to provide lolz during the serious stretches of the movie.

And then during Pineapple Express... like 70% of the people in the theater were area highschoolers who were drunk or stoned or (possibly) both. I was anticipating having to rip the faces off some dumb fucks, but fortunately everyone mostly shut up during the movie except for laughing and crowing with joy and going "AWWWWW HELLLLL NAAAAWWWW" at appropriate scenes. I also really want an icon that says "Santiago & Dunbar: BFFFs!" because awwwwww, they so ARE. I kind of wish the internet will be inundated with Saul/Dale fic now but I'm sure it won't be.

and lol yes, I did see both of these since my last movie review post. I heart the tiny theater so much, guys!
