I had a reply written out to this yesterday and then I somehow flailed at something ridiculous my brother did and, uh, turned my computer off? So that was smooth of me. And I totally forgot what I was trying to say in reply.

Oh, except I'm re-reading the HP books with kandigurl so my HE application can have some justification in canon, instead of just "well, I hear on teh internets that Ron Weasley is a pretty cool character, so I'll go with him as my favorite" or whatever. BECAUSE THAT'S SERIOUSLY HOW MY JUSTIFICATION WOULD GO. Also? That time-turner question? IS SERIOUSLY NOT GOOD. "Kinky voyeuristic shit" has spun out into "breaking all the laws of timeturners and having parties/orgies/whatever with like FIFTY OF ME!" It's good that such things don't exist IRL that we know of! because I'd probably break the universe somehow. And I'm actually a little shocked that everyone doesn't have that answer, because I cannot think of another application for the timeturner.

I've got the same feeling. I miss seeing everyone laughing all day. I think I was the oldest in the group.

It's like, now all I'm doing is sitting around at home and occasionally hanging out with one or two people instead of like TWENTY. It's definitely very different!

The nice thing about H_E (JOINJOINJOIN) is that honestly, when talking to other H_E people I can never tell what age they are. Everyone just meshes into this commonality. I didn't feel like you were young. You're the same age as my fiancé, so I'm not used to noticing 3 year age differences I guess. XD

I think I was also feeling extra-young at the con since parking was eleventy trillion dollars and I had my parents/brother drop me off and pick me up, and was thus oddly dependent on others for transportation.
