So, in case you missed my earlier post of recs and thus don't know this, it's fanvid rec month in my journal. I made scoradh watch some of them, which I don't think were really her thing (BUT SHE MADE ME READ BANDOM FIC, SO I FELT IT WAS A FAIR EXCHANGE [I liked the bandom fic even though I know nothing about bandom except that it exists... so you should definitely be watching her journal for it, btw]).

Anyway, that reminded me of strangefandom, which is an lj community that shows people fanvids of shows they've never seen and then has them write summaries, based on what they saw in the fanvids, of what they think the show is about. This frequently produces hilarious results. There's a list in the userinfo of all the fandoms they've covered, but my favorite is the Stargate Atlantis one.
