I think BSG may be trying to kill us. A person cannot really be expected to wait A WEEK!

I KNOW. There was such an outcry at our watching party (well, okay it was more like a small gathering of a handful of people, but WHATEVER, we had snacks and entertainment so it was totally a party!). Right before the end we were like, "oh man, it's going to be a cliffhanger" but then when it happened we were still all "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Especially since much speculation earlier had revolved around the theory that the end of the show was going to be that EVERYONE DIES (except maybe the cylons and Baltar).

I just watched the episode for the first time and OMG THAT JUST HAPPENED.

Probably the next episode will start with that same scene, and then have like 10 minutes of flashbacks explaining how they they escaped.

But maybe not! I'm actually kind of ready for them to just die / be really wounded. It's the last season and all!

Oh god, I hope not flashbacks. Did you see the previews for next week? They have that great thing where Roslin is all "I'M COMING FOR YOUUUU!!!!!" SO I'm really looking forward to that.

More and more I'm starting to think that the end might just be: EVERYONE DIES. EXCEPT BALTAR, BECAUSE HE'S JUST A LITTLE BITCH LIKE THAT. And the moral of the series will be "being a selfish dick can get you places. unfortunately, there will be no one else at the places you get." Which would be all kinds of hilarious/awesome/mindblowing in the way where I would cry FOREVERRR. But at the same time I don't want them to die because I would be so, so sad. And weren't there just a billion amazing shots of Kara and Tigh and Adama in this episode? I was sitting there going, "I WANT TO OPEN PHOTOSHOP RIGHT NOW OMGGGG."

Probably getting raped by Sergeant McRaperson. I really hope Athena shoots him in the face. And then Helo blearily goes, "good job, honey!" even though he's too out of it to really know what happened. (I heart the Agathons soooo much.)

OH, and I started watching The X-Files. I'm on the fourth episode. Scully and Mulder already have mega UST. I can imagine that by later in the show it will be mindsplodey amounts.

I don't really mean a whole episode of flashbacks, just like how after other cliffhangers they sometimes explain away all of the danger. Which is almost as annoying a whole episode of flashbacks, but not quite. I'm trying to remember an episode where they did this... okay! Like at the end of season 2, when they totally cut it so it looks like Roslin, Zarek, and all of the other prisoners of the cylons are about to be shot while Cally runs away, and then the next episode is an episode about how all of them are fine, by doing flashbacks leading up to that. Though maybe that was a whole episode... WHATEVER, EITHER WAY IT WOULD SUCK AND THEY SHOULD JUST DIE.

Omg I didn't see that but I have been waiting for that moment and after the shit starting going down I had hopes it would be in this episode. And then it wasn't. So that will be awesome!

You're right, the shots of Tigh and Adama were AWESOME. Olmos looked SO FUCKING BADASS the whole time. I really want an icon of him with that giant gun, accompanied by a witty and appropriate phrase.

Mulder and Scully's UST reaches mindsplodey quantities, and then it levels out in this still awesome and actually hilarious way where they still aren't making out, but have finally caught on to their deep love for each other, so they spend every moment flirting. It's about the time that the producers realized that there was absolutely no way that Scully would still be a total skeptic after seeing several seasons' worth of supernatural phenomena and so she starts agreeing with Mulder, or only disagreeing in hilarious and flirtatious ways.
